Swift Feet Invitational Event Information

It's Swift Feet Invitational Weekend!!

As we wrap up Every Kid Healthy Week we are excited to say that again we have over 700 entries scheduled for this Saturday, April 30th 2016.

 

This an Invitational Track Meet as such there will be no changes made to entries on the date of the meet.

 

PACKET PICK UP:

Athletes will be required to have an identifying wrist band to particpate in the event.  These wrist bands are color coded based on the age division.  Individual Athletes/Teams may pick up their packet upon arrival to the event from the Packet Pick Up Area which will include the wrist band(s) and other athlete information.

 

EVENT INFORMATION BELOW :

 

Location  South East Raleigh High School, 2600 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh NC 27610

 

Gates Open at 7:15 am, Saturday April 30th 2016

 

Admission to the event is free

 

Seating in the stadium will hold over 2500 guest which is well over the expected attendance.

 

Tents will be permitted in the stadium only to the west of the finish line on the home side and any area on the visitors side. Tents are not permitted on the side walk or in grass areas along the fence line.

 

Concessions will be provided onsite

 

Coolers are permitted

 

Schedule of Events has been posted on the website. The event is on a rolling schedule which permits the next event to advance and begin at the conclusion of the preceding event. Events with fewer entries will advance quicker.

 

The Performance List, a list of all registered athletes will be published by 8am on Friday, April 2016 on our website.

 

Volunteers and Events Coordinators will be the only individuals permitted on the track. These indivudals must be registered (you may do so on our website). Volunteers will be identified with a colored wrist band and/or volunteer event t-shirt.

 

Coaches/Parents will be provided a designated space to view both the Long Jump and the Turbo Javelin events.  Once these events have concluded all spectators and coaches will be asked to return to the stadium for the conclusion of the meet.

 

Check In will be provided at the designated area for running event. All field events may check in at their location. Parents may walk children over to the clerking area where an event volunteer will escort them to the start of their event. Parents/Coaches will not be allowed in the check in area.

 

Running Events Results will be posted as time final

 

Field Events Results will allow (4) jumps as a final

 

Medals/Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each event 30 minutes after the conclusion of all events. Athletes must secure their medals/awards in advance of leaving the event as awards will not be shipped.

 

SPECIAL SERIES AWARDS:

 

Special Awards will be presented to Top Athletes per Age Group based on the individual TheFreedom2Run scoring algorithm. These special awards will be mailed to the athlete post the event and published on both our and partnering websites.
